We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with dialysis, lab, special procedures, ER, med/surg or critical care experience to join our vascular clinical team. In this position, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients. In this role, you will manage wound care patients along with dialysis patients. You will monitor the patients on a weekly basis do wound care along with a vascular surgeon. You will be responsible for doing wound care. This clinic will see dialysis patients and vein patients as well. As a member of our team, you will interact with patients, physicians and dialysis facilities as part of our community educational program, and also participate in other educational outreach initiatives. We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for immediate placement in our Vascular Office, located in Cordele, GA. The ideal candidate will have 2 years experience in general diagnostic, and special procedures, and cardiac catheterization. This person will be required to work in our Albany office one day per week.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and record use of all medications. Gather patient clinical information prior to including patient assessments and patient history
- Keep clear and accurate patient medical records in EHR
- Maintain up-to-date narcotic drug log
- Observe all JCAHO and radiation safety monitoring policies
- Work up patients and do virtual visits with our Albany office
- Assist in scheduling patients as directed by the center manager
- Participate in center community education programs
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned including but not limited to: attend team meetings, in services, phone conferences, and training as needed; know, understand, and follow teammate guidelines, employment policies, and department or company procedures; know, understand, and comply with all clinical and business policies and procedures
- Consistent, regular, punctual attendance as scheduled is an essential responsibility of this position
- Gather patient clinical information prior to office visit including patient assessments and patient history
- Monitor and maintain adequate inventory of medical supplies
Experience:
Registered Nurse : 2 years (Preferred)
