Roadside Technician

Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Roadside Technician for chassis and trailer repair. You will provide essential support to drivers in need, ensuring their trailers are back on the move in no time. Your mechanical expertise and hands-on skills will shine as you tackle various roadside challenges.

What you’ll do

• Respond promptly to roadside assistance calls and provide exceptional service.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to conduct repairs and maintenance.
• Complete tire changes and minor mechanical repairs
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used during each call.
• Communicate clearly with customers, providing updates on service status and guidance on next steps.
• Ensure all equipment is in good working condition and report any maintenance needs promptly.

Basic qualifications

• Strong understanding of airbrake systems
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot air and electric systems

Preferred qualifications

• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for truck/trailer repairs.
• Familiarity with diagnostic equipment, including ohmmeters and multimeters.
• Previous experience in roadside assistance or heavy duty trailer repair role is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 – 42 per week
