JOB SUMMARY:
Corby Energy Services, Inc., ("CES") is looking for a Health and Safety (HSE) Coordinator to join our team! Reporting to the HSE Senior Manager, the Coordinator will aid in the management of appropriate metrics and reports, development of systems and data management capabilities to support HS&E programs and improve the understanding HS&E policies to all participants in the company. The workload includes a split between administrative work and project site visits with field personnel. Work is in a fast-paced environment serving utility and municipal clients’ construction and maintenance needs.
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for assisting in the implementation, evaluation, and enforcement of the company’s environmental health and safety policies and programs for strict compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations
- Assist in developing mitigation measures and corrective actions for the objective findings of observations and inspection deficiencies to reduce the risk of hazards from recurring within the organization
- Design and present training programs for new hires and current employees, addressing relevant health, safety, and environmental issues
- Responsible for inventory tracking of necessary PPE and other various safety equipment used throughout the company
- Working with appropriate leaders, drive HS&E strategy across the company

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic knowledge of safety standards such as: MIOSHA, OSHA and DOTstandards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, and similar products
- Valid Driver’s License (with a satisfactory driving record – MVR check will be conducted prior to hire)
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Solid leadership, organizational, and time management skills – must be a self-starter and self-motivated
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates or higher degree in safety, business administration, or other related focus

- 3 years of experience in a construction-related industry – with focus on safety or administration
