Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and some grooming.
- Light Housekeeping and some chore services.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning tasks and proper infection control procedures
- Time management skills
- Able to follow directions and changes in weekly schedules
- Good communication skills
- Observe and document patient conditions, behaviors, and progress accurately for care plans and team communication
- Provide emotional support and companionship to foster a positive environment
Experience
- Prior experience working in home health care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of patient observation techniques
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality at all times
- Strong background in caregiving roles
