What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Operations Manager position at Corbett HVAC Services LLC?
About the Role
Summer is one of our busiest times of year, and we’re looking for someone dependable, sharp, and personable to help us keep things running smoothly. This is a seasonal, contracted position designed for someone who enjoys problem-solving, helping people, and being the "command center" of a small business.
HVAC knowledge is not required or expected to excel in this position. We’re looking for someone who is great with people, tech-savvy, and ready to dive into a professional office environment.
What You’ll Do
Manage the Front Line: Be the friendly voice of the company by answering phone calls and staying on top of multiple email inboxes.
Solve the Daily Puzzle: Assist in managing our service schedule, helping us coordinate technician routes and appointment times as things change throughout the day.
Support Our Customers: Communicate directly with clients to provide updates and confirmations. You'll be the calm, professional voice that helps customers feel taken care of—even when they're calling about an AC emergency in the summer heat.
Stay Agile: Our workflow is driven by the weather. You’ll be someone who can stay focused during a fast-paced "heatwave" morning and stay productive during the occasional quiet afternoon.
What We’re Looking For
Strong Communicators: You have great phone etiquette and the ability to handle callers of all types with patience and a smile.
Google Workspace Proficiency: You’re comfortable using Google Drive, Sheets, and Docs to keep us organized.
The "Multitasker" Mindset: You can keep a cool head while juggling emails, calls, and scheduling shifts.
Recent Grads Welcome: This is a fantastic role for a recent college graduate looking to build experience in logistics, operations, or customer relations.
Schedule & Flexibility
Hours: Monday–Friday, typically 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM.
Flexibility: We value our team’s time and are happy to be flexible with start/end times for the right candidate.
Term: Seasonal contract (Summer 2026).
