Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the People Services department, contributing to strategic planning for staffing, training, and financial targets.
- Ensure compliance with HR-related government regulations and maintain accurate recordkeeping.
- Oversee performance management processes, ensuring timely evaluations, goal-setting, and consistent talent management practices.
- Support the recruitment process, including conducting interviews and utilizing/updating the applicant tracking system.
- Coordinate and conduct competency-based hiring interviews.
- Participate in wage surveys, analyze data, and make recommendations.
- Assist with coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions as needed.
- Support the administration of employee benefits, open enrollment, FMLA, and leave of absence (LOA) functions.
- A combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma or relevant training and experience.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and HRIS systems.
- Strong communication skills with fluency in English, both verbal and written, and excellent employee relations skills.
