We currently have an opportunity for a well-rounded and seasoned Lobby Lounge Bar Supervisor with luxury bar knowledge to join our Pier Sixty-Six Resort team!

Reporting to the Director of Food and Beverage and the Beverage Director, this role will be responsible for leading the Restaurant operation (including Bar Operation of the outlet) with passion and creativity, ensuring exceptional five-star service. This role will require assisting other F&B Outlets as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and mentoring servers, bartenders, and support staff, ensuring they deliver impeccable service and adhere to resort standards.
• Overseeing all aspects of lobby bar operations, including staffing, inventory management, ordering, and stocking, to maintain high-quality service and uphold brand standards. .
• Collaborating with the culinary team to develop and update menu offerings, ensuring they reflect current trends and guest preferences.
• Monitoring beverage quality and presentation, providing feedback and guidance to ensure consistency and excellence in drink preparation.
• Managing guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner, striving to exceed guest expectations and resolve issues to their satisfaction.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the lobby bar, including bar tops, equipment, and seating areas, in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Assisting in developing and implementing standard operating procedures, service protocols, and training materials to maintain consistency and excellence in service.
• Collaborating with other resort departments, such as food and beverage, culinary, and guest services, to enhance the overall guest experience and drive revenue opportunities.
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a luxury hotel or resort lobby bar and/or coffee shop environment.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to deliver exceptional service.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, especially during busy service periods or high-profile events.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Comprehensive knowledge of bar operations and expertise in a wide variety of liquors.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in hospitality management or related field is a plus.
