Responsibilities
- Deliver standout, genuine service that wakes guests up better than their first cup of coffee
- Master the menu (yes, even the modifiers) and confidently guide guests through food and beverage selections
- Anticipate guest needs before they even ask—breakfast mind-reading is a plus
- Keep tables tidy, orders accurate, and service flowing smoothly during busy morning rushes
- Collaborate with the team to maintain a positive, energetic vibe on the floor
- Handle transactions with accuracy and accountability
- Follow all food safety and alcohol service standards (even if it’s “just brunch”)
- Previous serving experience in a high-volume restaurant, fine dining experience required
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- A naturally upbeat, guest-first attitude—mornings can be early, but you still bring the sunshine
- Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask without breaking a sweat
- Availability to work mostly mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of POS systems and basic cash handling
- California Food Handler Card and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification (or willingness to obtain)
