Overview
As a fitness instructor at the Suncadia Swim & Fitness Center, you will use your creativity and passion for health and wellness to design individualized training programs and/or lead fitness classes for club members, clients, and resort guests. You will monitor client training sessions and maintain records of client’s progress. As member of the Swim & Fitness Center team, you'll also do your part to monitor the facility, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and positive guest experiences.
Salary: $17.13/hr with additional earnings available through commission

- Plan classes around the skill levels of the participants.
- Lead fitness classes in exercises and/or instruct personal training clients.
- Monitor the well-being of all participants.
- Enforce all fitness facility policies, rules, and regulations. Complete records and reports as needed.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas and ensure equipment and classrooms are in working order.
- Attend all special events, meetings, and trainings as requested and required by the Director of Wellness & Fitness
- Perform extra duties as requested.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must possess a Personal Trainer Certification, or higher, from one of the following agencies: American Council on Exercise (ACE), National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), National Association of Sports Medicine (NASM), American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), or The Cooper Institute
- Current CPR and AED certification required.
- Experience in hospitality a plus
- Previous guest relations training preferred
- Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
