Job Specifications
- Onsite: Black Desert Resort
- Shift & Schedule Availability: Year-Round / Event-Based (Full-Time, Part-Time, or On-Call based on assignment)
- Pay Rate: $9.00/hour plus service charges and gratuities. This is the pay rate we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Key Responsibilities including but not limited to
- Set up banquet bars according to event specifications and banquet event orders (BEOs).
- Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain full knowledge of event bar packages, specialty cocktails, and wine selections.
- Ensure proper portion control and responsible alcohol service.
- Verify guest identification in compliance with Utah alcohol laws.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area throughout service.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs.
- Coordinate with Banquet Captains, Culinary, and service staff for seamless event execution.
- Assist with breakdown and proper storage of bar equipment and product.
- Follow all sanitation, safety, and alcohol service guidelines.
- Provide polished, courteous, and engaging service to all guests.
- Uphold Black Desert Resort’s ultra-premium service standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Previous bartending experience required; banquet or high-volume event experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, wine service, and bar operations.
- Utah alcohol service certification required or ability to obtain prior to service.
- Strong communication and guest engagement skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in high-volume event environments.
- Professional appearance and polished demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
