Job Description
Coral Reef Home Health Solutions LLC is seeking qualified and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) to join our growing home health team in Broward County, Florida.
The Physical Therapist Assistant will provide skilled physical therapy services to patients in their homes under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, helping patients improve mobility, restore functional independence, and achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Responsibilities
- Implement physical therapy treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance training, and mobility rehabilitation.
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Assist patients in improving strength, coordination, and functional mobility.
- Educate patients and caregivers on prescribed exercises, safety, and fall prevention.
- Coordinate care with the supervising Physical Therapist and other healthcare professionals.
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with agency policies and applicable state and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Current and active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the State of Florida.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Previous home health experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills.
- Ability to work independently within the established plan of care and required supervision.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within Broward County.
- Current professional liability insurance and required credentials.
