Job Summary:
The Regional Business Office Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the financial and administrative operations of multiple nursing home facilities within a designated region. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and compliant functioning of the business office, with a primary focus on financial management, billing, accounts receivable, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
- Develop, implement, and monitor financial policies and procedures.
- Coordinate budgeting and financial forecasting for the region.
- Provide financial analysis and reports to senior management.
Billing and Accounts Receivable:
- Oversee the billing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage accounts receivable, collections, and reconciliation.
- Address billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay informed about federal, state, and local regulations related to healthcare and nursing home operations.
- Ensure compliance with billing and coding standards.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits.
Staff Supervision and Training:
- Recruit, train, and supervise business office staff within the region.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Collaborate with facility administrators, department heads, and corporate leadership.
- Communicate financial information and trends to relevant stakeholders.
- Participate in regional and corporate meetings as necessary.
Technology and Systems Management:
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial software and systems.
- Ensure staff proficiency in relevant technologies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
Customer Service:
- Address concerns and inquiries from residents, families, and staff related to billing and financial matters.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the healthcare industry, preferably in a nursing home or long-term care setting.
- Strong understanding of healthcare billing, reimbursement, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Salary : $58,800 - $74,400
