Position Overview:
Hourly Rate: $21-23/hr with Tips
Join our team where you can earn a competitive base rate of $16 per hour, plus average tips ranging from $5 to $7 per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed to enhance their dinning experience.
- Accurately process customer transactions using cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision, ensuring all payments are processed correctly.
- Maintain knowledge of food safety standards and ensure compliance during transactions involving food items.
- Assist in managing inventory levels by monitoring stock and reporting discrepancies to management.
- Provide support in maintaining cleanliness and organization at the cashier station and surrounding areas.
- Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Be able to handle fast-paced environment
- No previous training required but experience in a cash handling/kitchen environment is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is preferred
- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions accurately.
- Understanding of retail math concepts to assist with inventory management.
- Experience in cash handling and operating a cash register effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work as part of a team are essential qualities for this role.
