We are New Mexico's first and only tuition-free public charter school to offer single-gender classes. For students, we focus on providing quality instruction; individual learning plans; and meaningful family & community involvement.
Work hours are 7:50 am - 2:40 pm, Monday through Thursday.
Our school year begins on July 22, 2026 and ends on June 11, 2027. Work hours are from 7:50 am - 2:40 pm.

Role Description
Coral Community Charter School is seeking passionate individuals for the roles of Elementary Teacher, SPED (Special Education) Teacher, Educational Assistant, and Fine Arts Teacher. In these full-time, on-site positions located in Albuquerque, NM, candidates will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment, and fostering the intellectual and personal development of students. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, delivering instruction according to personalized educational plans, assessing student performance, and collaborating with colleagues and families to promote academic and social success. Educators will play a key role in supporting students’ progress and addressing their unique educational needs.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Curriculum Development, Teaching, and Elementary Education to provide effective, personalized, and high-quality instruction.
- Strong Communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration with students, families, and colleagues.
- Current (non expired) license or certification in Education, demonstrating foundational knowledge in teaching methodologies and instructional strategies.
- Experience or certification in Special Education (for SPED Teacher applicants).
- Passion for working with elementary-age students, fostering creativity, and promoting a positive learning environment.
- Ability to contribute to a supportive and dynamic team on-site, with an understanding of organizational values and goals.
- Knowledge of individualized instruction and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs.
