Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Physical Therapist role based in Miami Lakes, FL. The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions to improve mobility, function, and quality of life. Responsibilities include documenting care in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards, collaborating with interdisciplinary team members, educating patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, and monitoring progress to adjust treatments as needed. The role also involves contributing to a positive clinic environment, supporting community outreach initiatives, and maintaining high standards of safety and professional ethics in all patient interactions.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation to assess, plan, and implement effective treatment programs.
- Strong Patient Care skills, including compassionate communication, clinical decision-making, and individualized care planning.
- Knowledge of Medicine and Home Care principles to coordinate continuity of care and safe transitions outside the clinic.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program; Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
- Active state Physical Therapist license (or eligibility for licensure) in Florida.
- Experience in outpatient orthopedics or rehabilitation settings is beneficial.
- Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team and engage with diverse patient populations.
- Strong organizational, documentation, and time-management skills with proficiency in using electronic health records.
