In this role, the Physical Therapist Assistant supports licensed Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans, leading therapeutic exercises, and guiding patients through prescribed interventions. Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation to effectively support treatment plans and therapeutic interventions.
- Candidates should possess strong Patient Care and Quality Patient Care skills to ensure safe, compassionate, and effective clinical interactions.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Orthopedics to assist with musculoskeletal conditions and orthopedic rehabilitation programs.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program; current or eligible state licensure/certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Florida.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, with the ability to follow clinical directions and provide clear patient education.
- Ability to perform the physical demands of the role, including assisting with patient transfers, standing for extended periods, and using therapeutic equipment safely.
- Experience in outpatient rehabilitation or related settings is preferred; new graduates with clinical rotations in similar environments are encouraged to apply.
