What You’ll Do
  • Drive Medicaid Pending applications and collaborate with residents, families, and agencies to secure coverage efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, including receipts, deposits, and reconciliations, ensuring transparency and compliance.
  • Lead claims processing and partner with billing teams and payers to guarantee timely reimbursement.
  • Oversee census management and coordinate with nursing and admissions teams for accurate reporting.
  • Manage Resident Trust Accounts with precision, including weekly and monthly reconciliations.
  • Supervise petty cash and collections while safeguarding operational integrity.
  • Protect confidentiality of resident, employee, and organizational data.
  • Interact professionally with residents, families, staff, and external partners in all situations.
  • Master Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes to maximize financial efficiency.
What You Bring
  • Proven experience as a Business Office Manager in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).
  • Expertise in healthcare accounting, including Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party billing.
  • Strong computer skills and collections experience.
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in business, accounting, or related field preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills to drive results and ensure compliance.
