Copy-it is a locally owned digital print shop providing high-quality printing, copying, and finishing services for businesses and individuals. We take pride in fast turnaround times, attention to detail, and excellent customer service.
Position Overview
Copy-it is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Digital Print Associate to join our production team. Focus of this position is greeting all walk-in customers, processing customers’ digital printing needs and answering customers’ questions regarding processing of their orders in person, via email and by phone. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, working with customers, and learning print production equipment.
Responsibilities
- Copy-it is looking for the right person to provide a FRIENDLY presence at our store front counter area, to make eye contact, smile, and greet all Customers in a timely, courteous, and friendly manner.
- Excellent computer skills. Working knowledge of technology, digital printing, Microsoft Office applications preferred, specifically in Outlook/ Email processor, Publisher, Excel, and Word. Photoshop skills are a plus
- Assist customers in the digital printing of their files, data, photos, custom designs, and documents via original media, emails, and/or USB-Jump Drives.
- Additional knowledge of how to assist in sending/receiving digital files via: computer, email, text, and smart devices (phones, tablets, iPads, etc.)
- Operate digital printers, copiers, and finishing equipment
- Produce print jobs including copying, scanning, binding, cutting, and folding
- Check customer files for print readiness (PDFs, sizing, basic layout)
- Ensure print quality and meet job deadlines
- Assist customers at the counter, by phone, and email
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and keep work areas organized
- Follow shop procedures and safety guidelines
- Motivated to learn. We are willing to train the right person
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Print shop or production experience preferred, but not required
- Basic computer skills (Windows/Mac, email, file handling)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong customer service skills
- Reliability and punctuality
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
