What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Coordinator position at CopperPixel Properties Co.?
Our calendar covers events taking place at different locations across Tampa, and we’re adding an Event Coordinator to help keep everything organized from the initial plans through to the day itself.
You could be working with a venue one day, confirming details with a client the next, and then spending part of your weekend on-site making sure an event is running to schedule. It’s varied work, and plans can change quickly.
WHAT’S COMING UP?
Once an event is confirmed, you’ll help get the practical details in place:
- Venue and supplier coordination
- Timelines and event schedules
- Client requirements and updates
- Equipment and material arrangements
- Guest lists and event documents
- Staffing and on-site requirements
THEN IT’S EVENT DAY
For selected events, you’ll be out at venues across Tampa helping with setup, checking everything is where it should be, communicating with suppliers and dealing with changes as they happen.
Afterwards, there may be supplier follow-ups, paperwork, cost updates and preparation for whatever is next on the calendar.
THE SCHEDULE
This is a full-time position based in Tampa, with a mixture of office-based coordination and work at event locations across the city.
The event calendar determines the schedule, so evening and weekend availability will be required at times.
