About the Role
This is a seasonal position focused on the January–April tax season. For the right candidate, there is potential for part-time, year-round work to support client communication, operations, and continuous improvement.
As the Client Liaison, you will be the first point of contact for clients and prospective clients—shaping their initial impression and ensuring every interaction reflects Copperline Tax’s values: responsiveness, clarity, and professionalism. You’ll work closely with the Tax Partner, supporting both client relationships and key operational initiatives that strengthen the business.
Primary ResponsibilitiesClient Service & Sales Enablement
- Respond promptly to client and prospect inquiries via phone, email, or CRM
- Communicate Copperline Tax’s value proposition and pricing philosophy with confidence and clarity
- Prepare accurate price quotes and schedule consultations with the Tax Partner
- Set clear expectations around timelines, documentation needs, and next steps
- Ensure completion of client questionnaires and assist clients in gathering required documentation
- Maintain complete and accurate CRM records
- Follow up proactively on missing information and keep clients informed
- Deliver a consistently positive, professional, and service-oriented client experience
Operational & Administrative Support
- Manage scheduling, meeting coordination, and follow-up tasks for the Tax Partner
- Help develop, document, and refine internal procedures and client-facing materials
- Suggest and support improvements to workflow, file organization, and CRM efficiency
- Assist with light office administration: digital filing, checklists, communications
Communication & Collaboration
- Participate in two one-on-one meetings each week with the Tax Partner to discuss priorities and receive feedback
- Work independently with initiative while staying aligned with leadership direction
- Communicate clearly about workload, challenges, or delays
Performance Indicators
- Responsiveness and professionalism in all client interactions
- Timeliness and accuracy of client onboarding and documentation
- Quality and consistency of CRM records
- Initiative and follow-through on assigned projects
- Contribution to Copperline’s client satisfaction, growth, and reputation
Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Work Location: In person
