Activity Assistant- CNA Full time position
Will consider non-certified with expectation to complete in-house CNA training. Dayshift. Pay based upon experience, with excellent benefit opportunities. EOE
Duties include, but are not limited to-
- Assist in planning and implementing a variety of activities for residents in a nursing home setting
- Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote their well-being and quality of life
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to ensure a positive and engaging environment
- Support residents with dementia care needs by utilizing appropriate techniques and approaches
- Collaborate with the care team to develop individualized care plans and goals for each resident
- Manage schedules and coordinate logistics for activities and events
- Maintain accurate documentation of resident participation and progress

-Requires compassionate and patient demeanor when working with residents who may have physical or cognitive limitations
