Position Summary
The Activity Aide assists in planning, organizing, and facilitating recreational, social, and therapeutic activities for our residents. This role helps promote resident engagement, socialization, and overall well-being while creating a positive and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with resident activities, events, and outings
- Encourage resident participation and engagement
- Help set up and clean up activity areas
- Support individualized and group activities
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members
- Maintain a safe and enjoyable environment during activities
Qualifications
- Positive attitude and genuine interest in working with seniors
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Previous experience in activities, recreation, customer service, or healthcare is preferred but not required
Schedule
- Part-Time
- Weekend availability required
Compensation
- $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
- Non-Union Position
