As a Grounds Crew Member, you will be actively involved in a variety of landscaping, maintenance, and groundskeeping tasks that keep our environments vibrant and inviting. Responsibilities

• Perform lawn care duties including mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing to ensure lush, healthy grass throughout the season.
• Maintain landscape features by planting, pruning trees and shrubs, and caring for gardens using hand tools and power tools.
• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators for landscaping projects or site preparation tasks with safety as a top priority.
• Execute hardscape installations like walkways, patios, retaining walls, and other masonry features to enhance outdoor spaces.
• Conduct seasonal snow plowing and de-icing to keep pathways safe during winter months.
• Support irrigation system installation and repairs to ensure efficient watering of landscapes.
• Assist with general maintenance tasks including equipment upkeep, minor repairs on landscaping tools, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.

Requirements

• Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience handling hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment such as mowers or trimmers.
• Knowledge of lawn care practices, landscape maintenance techniques, and horticulture principles.
• Experience with tree care including trimming, pruning, or planting; familiarity with arboricultural safety standards is a plus.
• Ability to operate construction machinery like excavators safely and effectively.
• Strong understanding of gardening practices along with experience in irrigation systems management.
• Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality standards. Pay: $14.50 - $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 38.0 per week
