Copper Peaks Solutions, LLC – Maryland Plant Assignment Copper Peaks Solutions, LLC is an industrial maintenance company based in East Tennessee. We are currently building a dedicated maintenance team to support a long-term customer at a single industrial facility in Linkwood, Maryland. This is a steady, repeat-site role — not bouncing from job to job.
You will be assigned to the same plant on a rotating schedule. We are looking for experienced, Electrical and Instrumentation tech's who are comfortable 480V and 120V Industrial panels. Position Summary The E&I Tech will provide on-site Electrical troubleshooting and repairs at a single industrial rendering / process facility in Maryland. Work will focus on maintaining and making repairs to existing electrical and assist with new electrical projects as the plant takes on projects to improve the facility.
Week one: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday
Week two: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday.
- This Schedule gives 10 total days off on a 28 day schedule, two long weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Electrical maintenance and repairs on industrial plant equipment
- Maintain and repair:
- Pressure transmitters, Flow meters, Level Controllers, ETC
- Electric motors, troubleshooting electrical wirings and panel components.
- Install and Program VFD's, Soft Starts, PID controllers.
- Be able to use a variety of electrical testing equipment including: Clamp Meters, Megohmmeter's, 4-20 mA Meters, Hart communicators, ETC
- Be able to work with Input and Output cards and troubleshooting relay systems
- Assist with shutdowns, breakdown repairs, and planned maintenance
- Work closely with plant operations and maintenance teams
- Follow all site safety procedures, LOTO requirements, and company policies
- Accurately document work performed and communicate job status to supervision
Preferred Experience
- Industrial Electrician
- Experience working in: Rendering plants, food processing, or similar heavy process facilities
- Work with Programmers to troubleshoot PLC systems and wiring issues
- Hands-on experience with running conduit and pulling wiring as needed
- Experience working around production equipment in an operating plant
Required Qualifications
- 4 years of Industrial electrical work
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
- Comfortable working in industrial environments
- Ability to safely replace and install electrical components
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass background screening and site-specific safety requirements
