Join our team of machine operators here at Copper Moon Coffee in Lafayette, IN. The machine operators play a key role in maintaining production schedules while supporting a clean & safe work environment. Copper Moon Coffee offers a chance to grow or start your machine operating experience by learning how to setup machines, inspect & test equipment, and record production data.

Job Duties:

· Set up and prepare machinery for daily operations.

· Operate, monitor, and adjust machine settings to achieve efficient and accurate product runs.

· Perform quality checks on products including weight, labels, count, and packaging accuracy.

· Inspect and test machine functionality; troubleshoot minor equipment issues and escalate major problems to maintenance.

· Preform other duties assigned to support productions and company goals.

Required Skills:

· Able to lift, push, pull, or move up to 25 pounds frequently.

· Able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and use hands/arms for extended periods of time.

· Able to work in production environment with exposure to noise, heat, and strong odors.

· Working knowledge of high-speed machinery, basic mechanical systems, and measurement tools.

· Basic math skills for measuring, weighing, and recording product information.

Desirable Skills:

· Experience in food manufacturing or packaging environment.

· Experience with coffee roasting or similar food production equipment.

· Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality & accuracy.

· Ability to problem solve.

· Highly communicative & collaborative work style.

Shifts Available:

2nd Shift: 3:00pm-11:30pm

Pay: From $17.50 per hour
