Banquet/Event Team Member (Full-Time)

Copper King Hotel & Convention Center is seeking a dependable, team-oriented Banquet Team Member to join our Events team. This role is responsible for the setup, service, and breakdown of banquet and event spaces while providing professional, courteous food and beverage service to our guests. Must have flexible availability- Including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and follow Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to ensure accurate room setup and service
• Set up and break down banquet rooms, buffets, action stations, and service areas
• Provide timely, friendly, and efficient food and beverage service during events as needed
• Serve snacks & non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with banquet service standards
• Maintain guest satisfaction by anticipating needs and responding promptly to requests
• Communicate effectively with the Banquet Captain and Sales Manager regarding event flow and guest needs
• Replenish buffet items to ensure quality and presentation
• Clear tables, reset rooms, and transport serviceware to stewarding areas
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in all meeting and event spaces
• Assist with side work, cleaning, stocking, and preparing rooms for upcoming events
• Support other departments as needed to promote teamwork and smooth operations

Qualifications

• Previous banquet, food & beverage, or hospitality experience preferred (but willing to train the right candidate)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards
• Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay: From $15.50 per hour
