We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Production Worker, Driver, and Delivery Assistant to join our team! Duties
- Load and unload shipments using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques to ensure safe and efficient handling of goods
- Operate box trucks and commercial vehicles to deliver products to various locations along designated routes
- Assist with route driving, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries while maintaining accurate delivery documentation
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries and addressing any questions or concerns
- Move inventory within the warehouse or job sites, including heavy lifting and manual handling of boxes or equipment
- Maintain safety protocols during loading, unloading, and driving activities to prevent accidents or injuries
- Support production activities by preparing items for shipment and ensuring orders are complete and accurate
Experience
- Prior experience as a delivery driver or courier is highly desirable, especially with route driving responsibilities
- Warehouse experience involving loading/unloading operations using forklifts or pallet jacks is preferred
- Proven ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience with box trucks or similar vehicles is a plus
- Familiarity with commercial vehicles and basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
- Customer service skills that enable positive interactions with clients during deliveries
- Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment is advantageous but not mandatory; training can be provided
