We are looking for a friendly and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. As a member of the Copper City team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers and preparing consistently amazing beverages. ```Responsibilities```
- Greet customers and take their orders with a smile
- Prepare and serve a variety of high quality hot and cold coffee and tea beverages
- Ensure the quality and consistency of each beverage by following recipes and standards
- Operate cash register and handle customer transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe (including bar area and customer area)
- Stock inventory and replenish supplies as needed
- Prepare food to order ensuring the same quality and consistency applied to beverages
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations
```Qualifications```
- Previous experience in customer service or the food industry is preferred but not necessary
- Capacity to work a minimum of 2 shifts during the week (M-F) is necessary
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 30 pounds
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
