Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our facilities maintenance team in ensuring the optimal operation, safety, and reliability of our mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems. Duties
- Manage and supervise facilities maintenance teams, ensuring timely completion of maintenance tasks and adherence to safety regulations.
- Oversee the inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical systems including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems (high voltage and low voltage), and mechanical equipment using schematics and engineering troubleshooting techniques.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to optimize equipment uptime.
- Lead projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs, including managing resources, timelines, and budgets for maintenance projects.
- Conduct safety training sessions on OSHA compliance, maintenance repair procedures, electrical safety protocols (including high voltage), and proper use of tools such as ohmmeters.
- Diagnose electrical issues using schematics and electrical experience to resolve complex problems efficiently.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards while maintaining accurate records of work performed.
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools for reporting, documentation, and communication with team members and management.
- Supervise the inspection and repair of HVAC systems including system troubleshooting, repairs, and routine maintenance to ensure optimal climate control.
- Oversee plumbing system maintenance including leak detection, pipe repairs, and fixture servicing.
- Monitor facility operations to identify potential issues proactively; implement solutions that improve efficiency and safety.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience supervising facilities or industrial maintenance teams with strong leadership skills in team management.
- Extensive mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in mechanical systems repair and industrial maintenance practices.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems including high voltage and low voltage wiring; experience with schematics is essential.
- Familiarity with HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, electrical troubleshooting tools such as ohmmeters, and engineering troubleshooting techniques.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to industrial maintenance environments; ability to enforce safety standards across teams.
- Experience managing projects within facilities management or industrial settings; proficient in project management principles.
- Skilled in using CMMS software for work order management; proficient with Microsoft Office suite for reporting purposes.
- Excellent communication skills in English; capable of providing clear instructions and documentation for team members.
- Ability to interpret schematics for electrical or mechanical troubleshooting; experience working with both high voltage and low voltage systems is preferred.
