Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Quality Engineer role located in South Bend, IN. The Quality Engineer will oversee and maintain quality assurance processes, implement quality control measures, and ensure product compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities include monitoring product quality, improving quality management systems, performing audits, resolving quality-related issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Quality Engineering and Quality Assurance
- Strong skills in Quality Control and Product Quality assessment
- Knowledge of Quality Management systems and practices
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to analyze data
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in quality standards and regulatory compliance
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred
- Experience in manufacturing or metals service is a plus
- Must be elegible to work in an ITAR Controlled Environment
