Overview:
SIGN ON BONUS
We are seeking a dedicated licensed or eligible to be licensed Counselor to join our team. Working under a licensed psychologist, the ideal candidate will have experience in patient care regarding children/adults. In our established active practice referrals will be provided. You will be contracted under 1099. You will be working with patients with various psychological issues. If you are passionate about helping individuals navigate through challenging situations, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Provide counseling services to patients with a focus on chronic pain management
- Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans
- Utilize various therapeutic techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy and art therapy
- Manage crisis situations effectively and provide support to individuals in distress
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including coding and ICD-10 documentation
-Knowledge of ethical and legal practice requirements
Experience:
The successful candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Experience working in an office setting
- Proficiency in patient assessment
- Knowledge of cognitive behavioral therapy techniques
- Strong crisis management skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
Requirements:
-Licensed counselor or Eligible to be licensed
- Licensed Psychologist or Eligible to be licensed
-Licensed in social work
-Background knowledge in psychology
