What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN to ADN Clinical Instructor position at COPIAH LINCOLN COMMUNITY COLLEGE?
The Associate Degree Nursing Program is seeking qualified Clinical Nursing Instructor(s) to supervise and educate nursing student in the clinical setting. The clinical nursing instructor reports to the Dean of Nursing and Allied Health.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise nursing student in assigned clinical agencies.
- Provide direct clinical teaching and guidance during client care experiences.
- Demonstrate clinical procedures and nursing skills as needed.
- Evaluate student performance using established clinical evaluation tools.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Provide timely student feedback.
- Implement remediation strategies for students as appropriate.
- Facilitate pre- and post-conferences.
- Abide by clinical agencies policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Current unencumbered Mississippi nursing license.
- MSN required.
- Minimum of two years of recent clinical nursing experience.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Satisfy a criminal history background check.
- Satisfy the clinical organization health requirements.
