Janitorial Porter

Job Summary

• As a Janitorial Porter at Copia Resources WA, Inc., you play a critical role in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, sanitation, and presentation across all assigned client properties. This role supports both day porter services and detailed janitorial cleaning, ensuring all areas remain safe, sanitary, and consistently market-ready.
• Janitorial Porters are responsible for maintaining interior and exterior common areas including, but not limited to: lobbies, restrooms, fitness centers, offices, lounges, conference rooms, elevators, rooftops, courtyards, parking areas, and other shared spaces.

Duties

• Perform routine property walks to ensure all areas meet cleanliness and presentation standards
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles and transport waste to designated collection areas
• Replace liners and maintain cleanliness of receptacles (interior and exterior)
• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces including door handles, railings, glass, and shared equipment
• Sweep, dust mop, and wet mop hard surface floors
• Vacuum carpets and entry mats using proper equipment and techniques
• Spot clean walls, glass, partitions, and entryways to remove fingerprints, smudges, and debris
• Maintain exterior areas including walkways, entrances, and surrounding grounds
• Clean and disinfect toilets, urinals, sinks, and countertops
• Restock consumables (toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc.)
• Clean mirrors, partitions, dispensers, and fixtures
• Empty sanitary waste receptacles
• Sweep and wet mop floors using disinfectant
• Dust and wipe desks, furniture, fixtures, vents, and baseboards
• Clean shared appliances (microwaves, refrigerators, water fountains, etc.)
• Disinfect tables, chairs, and high-use surfaces
• Clean glass surfaces and interior partitions
• Maintain cleanliness of lounges, offices, and amenity spaces
• Perform deep cleaning tasks including high dusting, detailed floor care, and hard-to-reach areas
• Thoroughly clean carpets, corners, edges, and under furniture
• Address buildup, debris, and detailed sanitation needs across all spaces

The Ideal Candidate:

• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends if required by client contracts
• Must be able to repetitively lift 50-75lbs and be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Strong attention to detail and accountability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable using a company-issued phone for communication and reporting
• Janitorial or commercial cleaning experience preferred
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand spoken English. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
• Experience with janitorial services is a plus

Pay: $22.00 per hour
