We are currently hiring a Full-Time Accountant to join our dedicated team. This position is open to candidates in both Tucson and Phoenix, though if you are based in Phoenix, travel to Tucson during training will be needed.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Copenhagen Accountant, you will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close processes, and ensuring the financial health of our company. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Performing general ledger accounting functions including journal entries and reconciliations
- Preparing and reviewing monthly financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow)
- Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely
- Reconciling bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts monthly
- Assisting with month-end and year-end close procedures
- Preparing financial reports and assisting with budgeting and forecasting
- Maintaining documentation and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- Collaborating with team members and store managers to resolve discrepancies
- Supporting external audits and tax filings by providing requested documentation
- Assisting in process improvements and automation of accounting procedures
- Completing annual census information for benefits administration and compliance
- Collecting, organizing, and submitting documentation for workers' compensation audits
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2 years of accounting experience preferred (retail industry experience a plus)
- Proficiency in accounting software (Furniture Retail Operation Group [FROG] or similar) and Microsoft Excel
- Experience using ADP and Sales/Use Tax preparation is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable with prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time
- Management experience is a plus

- A pre-employment drug test and background check is required
- This is a full-time position based in Tucson or Phoenix (Phoenix-based employees must travel frequently to Tucson during training)
