Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktail and spirits service, ensuring presentation standards are met
• Process sales transactions accurately while upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and food handling
• Assist with food preparation and kitchen support when needed, supporting overall restaurant operations
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive dining experience

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of POS systems including Toast and Yelp for reservations and order management
• Proven experience in food service roles with a focus on fine dining or upscale environments
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service standards
• Ability to process cash transactions accurately while handling sales transactions with basic math proficiency
• Food safety certification and understanding of sanitation practices in food handling and serving environments
