Role Description
We are seeking a part or full-time Therapist to join our compassionate team at COPE Psychological Center. This hybrid role is based in Los Angeles, CA, with a balance of in-office and remote work opportunities. The Therapist will provide individual, couples, and group therapy using evidence-based practices, conduct clinical assessments, and develop treatment plans tailored to clients’ needs. Responsibilities include maintaining detailed documentation, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and participating in ongoing professional development to deliver the highest standard of care.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field, with appropriate licensure or licensure eligibility in the state of California.
- Proficiency in evidence-based psychotherapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
- Strong skills in conducting clinical assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing psychotherapy to diverse populations.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and with clients from various backgrounds.
- Demonstrated organizational skills for maintaining client records and adhering to ethical and legal guidelines.
- Experience or interest in trauma-focused therapies such as Prolonged Exposure or Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD is desirable.
- Experience incorporating a developmental approach to therapy and working with individuals dealing with life transitions, addiction, or relational challenges is a plus.
