POSITION SUMMARY: Performs the duties required to receive, store and distribute plastic products
FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
Essential Functions:
- Unloads and receives incoming freight using forklift or hand truck
- Moves material to the established storage areas physically and electronically
- Pulls, packages and prepares materials for customers, fabrication and branches
- Helps maintain an accurate inventory and reports all material breakage immediately to supervisor
- Inspect forklifts at the beginning of each shift using a forklift inspection report and reports any damage to supervisor immediately
Marginal Functions:
Performs the duties required to contribute to the success of the Cope Team
Physical/Visual Activities or Demands:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk, stand, hear and use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms
- The employee must exert up to 60 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include clarity of vision at 20 feet or more as well as 20 inches or less
Environmental/Atmospheric Conditions:
Exposure to a warehouse environment on a regular basis
Qualifications:Education: Requires a high school education or GED
Experience: Requires previous warehouse or industrial experience is preferred
