Behavioral Health Specialist

The Behavioral Health Specialist will provide client supervision and care as part of the treatment team. The BHS will supervise and facilitate daily milieu of programs/services as assigned, such as assisting with activities of daily living skills, educational and community/recovery groups, and activity therapy. Read and implement a client’s treatment plan. Provide clients with positive cues and redirection. 

Shift: 

Shifts come in one 6 hour shift, and three 12 hour shifts.

Minimum Qualifications ($16.00/hour):

  • High School Diploma or GED, no experience needed. 

Preferred Qualifications ($17.00/hour):

  • Bachelors or master’s degree, no experience necessary OR

  • Associate degree plus one (1) years behavioral health work experience OR

  • High School Diploma or GED plus Peer Support Specialist certification plus two (2) years of behavioral health work experience OR

  • High School Diploma or GED plus four (3) years of behavioral health work experience.

Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years of age (automobile insurance requirement) and possess a valid AZ driver’s license with a “clean” or “acceptable” driving record. 

  • Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment background and drug screen.
