Who We Need
We are looking for a Medical Assistant who will assist the provision of medical services under the general supervision of a BHMP. Tasks are delegated to the MA may involve direct patient contact including assisting in filling out forms, routine activities such as vital signs monitoring, venipuncture for diagnostic purposes, and collection of body fluid samples from patients. Non face to face clerical activities include updating of patient demographic and outside treatment information, scheduling of diagnostic tests and telephonic appointment reminder calls to patients. Assists or as directed, schedules and coordinates hospital, surgery, complicated case referrals, and procedure activities. May assist in the collection of treatment related and treatment relevant information such as CSPMP and pharmacy refill requests information. BHMPs work in conjunction with RNs to provide oversight in the day-to-day performance of routine activities.
