Position Summary

Copa Health is seeking a proactive and experienced Facilities Manager to maintain safety of assigned facilities, ensuring a clean, well-functioning, and compliant environment for staff and members. This role provides direct supervision to the janitorial team, vehicle fleet and operations and maintenance technicians, ensuring high-quality service, timely repairs, and well-maintained environments across all sites. The Facilities Manager coordinates work orders, manages vendors, supports compliance needs, and ensures facilities remain safe, functional, and inspection ready. Supervise fleet management programs for acquisition, assignment, utilization, maintenance, repair, replacement and disposal of fleet vehicles

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily maintenance and repair operations for buildings, grounds, and equipment.
  • Provide direct supervision, including hiring, recruitment, scheduling, and performance oversight for the assigned staff, ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and to organizational standards.
  • Respond to work orders promptly and ensure timely resolution.
  • Perform routine inspections of facilities to identify hazards, maintenance needs, or safety issues.
  • Maintain preventative maintenance schedules, logs, and documentation.
  • Train staff on safety procedures, equipment use, and facilities policies.
  • Coordinate contractor work for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pest control, fire systems, janitorial services, and landscaping, including work completion and approval of services and invoices.
  • Ensure facilities meet regulatory requirements, including ADA, OSHA, fire code, and behavioral health licensing standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; technical training or associate degree preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in facilities management, building operations, maintenance supervision, or a related field.
  • Supervisory experience required; experience leading maintenance technicians strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of building systems, basic construction, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and safety regulations.
  • Ability to meet Copa’s driver authorized driving requirements set forth by Copa’s insurance company.
