A little about the job....

• Perform a variety of duties in the Central Supply section of Materiel Management.
• Performs functions for clerical support, inventory, and maintenance of supply levels. Also, performs critical functions as it relates to patient charges and revenue.

Qualifications for the job...

• Must be able to read, write and perform simple arithmetic calculations at a level acquired through a high school education. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Must type 20 w.p.m.
• Two to three years of experience in a clerical position with materiel management and/or purchasing experience preferred.
• Experience and knowledge of computer operations to include order entry as well as basic operational experience preferred.
• Work requires two to three months' on-the-job training to acquire necessary familiarity with department policies and procedures.
Must have interpersonal skills sufficient to effectively and cordially interact with customers. Must be able to accurately and effectively use computer system. Position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
