Requirements

• Background check and drug test required.
• Bilingual Spanish and English including speaking, reading, and writing in both languages.
• Work experience or education in health or human services related field.
• Driver's license and insurable driving record required.

Job Duties

• Using a multiple line telephone, personal computer, photocopy and fax machine, and smartphone.
• Performs outreach activities targeted at vulnerable populations in the community, people who face barriers to access OHP assistance services, and pregnant women in Coos County.
• Assist clients with OHP and other public insurances enrollment.
• Initiate appointments for health care services, and provide referrals to other appropriate program services and organizations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Schedule

• Full-time. Monday through Friday. Occasional evenings/weekends at public health events as directed and approved.
• Temporary position estimated to last six months.

Rate of Pay

• $23.00 per hour.
