Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of seniors? Our non-profit organization is seeking an energetic and compassionate Resident Services Coordinator to help create vibrant, engaging communities where older adults can age in place with dignity, joy, and purpose.

As a Resident Services Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in designing and coordinating a fun, meaningful monthly calendar of activities and events that enrich the lives of our residents.

We’re looking for a friendly, outgoing professional who loves bringing people together—someone who enjoys planning celebrations, organizing activities, and building strong relationships with our residents. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, patient, and kind, with excellent communication skills and a genuine heart for helping others.

What You’ll Do

As a Resident Services Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in creating a welcoming and engaging environment for our senior residents by:

  • Coordinating and managing all onsite food support programs (Golden Groceries, Food Rescue, Helping Hands, Big Lots, and Target donations and distributions).
  • Managing resident applications, documentation, and reporting for food and assistance programs while ensuring compliance with safety and handling requirements.
  • Planning and leading monthly activities and events such as clubs, arts & crafts, fitness programs, nutrition and cooking classes, birthday celebrations, field trips, and entertainment.
  • Creating and maintaining monthly activity calendars, flyers, bulletin boards, and resident outreach materials.
  • Ordering materials and supplies for upcoming activities and events at your property.
  • Tracking attendance, outcomes, and budgets for all programs.
  • Submitting reports in a timely manner.
  • Coordinating resident assistance requests for items such as furniture, beds, and financial support within CLSN guidelines.
  • Collaborating with onsite property management and maintaining organized audit files throughout the year.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 21 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1–2 years of administrative or program coordination experience (non-profit or volunteer work a plus)
  • Compassion and desire for working with the senior population
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to address concerns in a respectful and positive manner and seeks assistance, when needed, from their Operations Manager.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Reliable, responsible, and punctual
  • Maintain compliance with all organization policies and procedures.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Valid Nevada driver’s license, reliable transportation.
  • Must pass background and drug screenings

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • · Ability to handle a two-handed cart including pushing, pulling and lifting of loaded and unloaded totes, bags, crates and boxes.
  • At times, sustained squatting, kneeling, stooping and bending while moving totes and bags from ground level to overhead.

Preferred (but not required):

  • Experience in event planning, food service, or community programming
  • Description: This is a full-time, 40-hour per week, 8-hour shift, Tuesday through Saturday position.

Standard Benefits: Available after successful completion of 90-day probationary period.
