Coordinated Interior Woods is currently looking for a Designer/Estimator with a background in commercial and residential cabinet design using software that includes 2020 Design.

This role is for you if:
Have a passion for design
- Drawing in the design software
- Ability to interpret customer ideas into realistic plans
- Read and understand part stickers, cabinet drawings, and material sheets
Have an eye for detail
- Accurate scheduling for production capacity and delivery and install.
- Producing shop paperwork and correct billing information.
- Must be accurate.
You enjoy helping and communicating with others
- Have outstanding customer service skills
- Greeting walk-in clients and answering phones
- Processing quotes and orders
- Responding to customer inquiries and finding solutions to problems
- Communicating with assembly shop and installers
Additional Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their design preferences and requirements for cabinetry, closets, countertops, and millwork
- Utilize 2020 Design and Cabinet Vision software
- Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring timely delivery of designs
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the design and installation process
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and installers to ensure quality and timely product delivery
- Stay updated on industry trends and materials to enhance design offerings
Skills, Education, and Experience Required:
- Associate Degree in Interior or Architectural Design plus 2 years of design experience
- Construction and/or Industry experience a plus
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and sense of urgency skill set is a must
- Articulate deadlines, expectations, and needs with vendors, customers, and management
- Ability to perform tasks and manage time with minimal oversight in a team environment
- Adaptability in a fast-paced environment where priorities can be redirected
- Knowledge and ability to interpret construction documents and scaling from blueprints
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and general computer skills
- Requires: Intermittent intense levels of concentration, manage multiple requests and variable time factors impacting job, careful organization and planning are necessary, must be accurate
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.75 - $24.00 per hour
