MRI Technician -RWJ Barnabas Health

A typical day for a MRI Technician may include:
- Analyzing the patient's physical condition, age and suspected pathology for proper technique
- Assisting Radiologist in performing certain radiographic procedures
- Correctly marks images with time and body position
- Ensuring patient comfort, physical and mental well being during the examination
- Ensuring that room is properly stocked with all needed supplies prior to the beginning of the procedure
- Explaining procedures, keeps patient informed of progress and assists patients in transferring on to/off examination table for procedures

- This full-time position offers a day shift schedule working 37.5 hours per week,
- You have a Radiology Assistant degree.
- You are a Second Year Student at an JCERT approved Full time Radiology Technology Program
- No experience needed
