What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transportation Mechanic Tech I position at School Services?
Entry level mechanic position. Responsible for the maintenance of School Buses and district vehicles.
This position will be scheduled with driving a bus route.
Formal schooling and/or prior mechanic work experience, or previous on-the-job training is helpful. Must have a clean driving record and must carry or be willing to obtain a class A or class B CDL with Passenger and School Bus endorsements.
Must be responsible and be able to work on both the opening and closing shift in the shop. Person in this position must also be able to perform other duties as assigned by the district.
Contract Days (Mechanic Tech): 240

Salary : $35,549 - $48,245
