Meter Technician- Cooperative Energy, Hattiesburg, MS

The Meter Technician III, under direct guidance, provides basic support in the installation, maintenance, and repair of telemeter, wholesale meter systems, under frequency relay systems, and other electronic and electrical equipment and inspection of assigned facilities.
Qualifications:
Education Requirements
- Associate's Degree in the I&E Field of Study
- Military Training or Technical Certificate in the required programs will be accepted in lieu of education requirements.
*Technical certificate (4 semesters) must be from a recognized institute/college.
Experience Requirements
- None Required Plus Associate's Degree Or
- 1 Year - Industrial electronic or industrial electrical experience is required with a technical certificate and military training.
Certifications/ Licensures
- Successfully pass a security sensitive background screening
- Valid Driver's License
- Successfully qualified on entry level technician exam
