We are looking for a friendly and professional Deli Associate to join our team. The Deli Associate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, stocking and pricing deli/bakery products, taking orders, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This position requires excellent organizational and communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Deli Associate Duties and Responsibilities
- •Greet customers and answer questions regarding deli products
- •Prepare deli sandwiches according to customer requests
- •Stock shelves with deli & bakery products
- •Price and label deli/bakery products
- •Maintain a clean and organized work area
- •Ensure that all deli products are stored and handled in accordance with food safety guidelines
- •Provide excellent customer service
- •Learn some baking skills to help out during slower moments of shift
Deli Associate Requirements and Qualifications
- •High school diploma or equivalent
- •Previous deli or food service experience is preferred
- •Knowledge of food safety guidelines
- •Excellent customer service and communication skills
- •Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- •Able to stand for extended periods of time
