Short Description
The trained Surgical technologist, under the direct supervision of the Registered Professional Nurse and/or physician, is assigned as an assistant to specific service areas in the Surgical Suite.

Experience Required
- 2 years of Surgical Technologist CVOR experience is required
Education Requirements
- Graduate of a nationally or regionally accredited educational program for Surgical Technologists.
License/Certification Requirements
- Certified Surgical Technologist Credential administered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or its successor, or other nationally recognized credentialing organization (e.g. NCCT - National Center for Competency Testing, etc.).
Special Requirements
- Weekend, holiday, and call rotation required
- Must annually complete 15 hours of continuing education to remain qualified to practice as a Surgical Technologist in NJ.
The New Jersey Pay Transparency Act requires disclosure of the pay range for this position.
A salary offer will vary based on the job role, candidate experience, qualifications, internal pay equity and market data.
