Short Description
.
Performs cardiac ultrasound tests (including stress Echo's and Trans esophageal Echo's) in accordance with the American Society of Echocardiography and department policies. Ability to comply with ICAEL standards. Demonstrates a full knowledge of cardiac ultrasound practice and the usage of digital ultrasound equipment. Completes daily scheduled tests in the appropriate time frame and to population specific group. Ability to prepare the patient and explain the procedure. Ability to navigate through an electronic medical record including documentation of patient/family education, editing orders and billing.
Experience Required
Experience preferred.
Education Requirements
High School Diploma Required. Must be a graduate of an accredited Echocardiography program.
License/Certification Requirements
ARDMS and CRP certification is required.
The New Jersey Pay Transparency Act requires disclosure of the pay range for this position.
